Position: Tractor Assembly Technician
Location: Raleigh, NC
Pay: $17/hr - $18/hr (Depending on experience)
Experience: 2-4 years of mechanical-related experience. Auto-repair experience is very similar to this role, can be professional or work on their car.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Certified training in related areas of mechanics and assembly is a plus!
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm (ability to work OT as needed)
Greene Resources is seeking a Tractor Assembly Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
-Handle setup and assembly of tractors.
-Attach all equipment needed per customer request (tires, steering wheel, mowers etc.).
-Order and maintain inventory of tools and parts for tractor.
-Handle problems and figure out solutions when parts need to be modified.
-Assist with touching up paint as needed.
-Use a forklift to move material around in the assembly area.
-Provide backup for all warehouse duties and responsibilities as needed.
-Responsible for the safety, cleanliness, and organization of the assembly area.
-Report loss, damage, or malfunctioning equipment to the direct supervisor.
-Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
-Forklift certification (required).
-Ability to use hand and power tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, impact guns etc.).
-Knowledge of paint or body repair.
-Ability to read mechanical schematics.
-Ability to work on a team and independently.
